A big part was the weather but lets not underplay the ball. There has been enough moaning that it's clear bowlers were not happy with the Kookaburra. It's a bloody hard ball to seam (swing goes earlier as well) add that to slow, dead pitches plus lack of skills and voila. The reason for the draws was primarily down to the weather, same for the first round.
With that said, who stands out? Sam Cook - known for being a 78 mph Dukes wonderkid but seems he has skill.
