Tony Khan made a bit of a twat of himself on the NFL network. Seems every time AEW makes any advances Tony either blows it on X or makes an idiot of himself.

Wrestling is an actual sport
Entertainment wrestling they deserve the money for entertaining.. but also for putting body, health on the line. They take risks with moves, steroids etc.

I saw that he got beat up by The Elite this week

Did a interview in the neck brace on NFL network comparing the WWE to Harvey Weinstein. Obviously going on about Vince but not the best look using that.

I don't follow closely, but I get the impression that AEW needs a new booker and figurehead.

Khan appears out of his depth in both roles.

AEWs ratings are going down the last couple of months. Not good when you've signed all the big free agents like he did. The Wembley show is still tracking OK ticket wise but probably not as big as last year.

The only AEW content I watch are random Danielson matches.

Who do you think could be a draw for them? (if anyone)

Yeah, I mainly just follow the AEW stuff on YouTube or read the reports.

Don't think anyone can currently move it much upwards for them.
Only wrestler that maybe could do it is MJF, but apparently he now needs surgery so will be out longer too. If your ratings are going down when debuting Okada, Ospreay and Mercedes Mone you are doing something wrong.

I agree with you, they definitely need to give the book to someone other than Tony. He's run out of ideas now. Also spread himself too thin, why did he have to buy Ring of Honor and book that too. The subscriptions for Honor Club must be in the low single thousands.

Backlash France looks underwhelming as a card. Lots of injuries I guess so can't be helped to some extent.

Not exactly a cracking little card on paper i agree, the Frenchies will have a great night though.

I don't follow closely, but I'm going to guess for vanity purposes.

Khan is a wrestling nerd (long time WON subscriber, DVDR forum user etc).

He's a money mark, instead of playing with his toys, he's playing with real life wrestlers his daddy bought him, can't stand the cunt, good for the wrestlers who can bleed him dry for money and less work though and if don't want to be in wwe or can't make it there to begin with.

Always suffers a bit after mania as there's a lot of new champs who aren't going to lose titles quickly. Plus the fucking draft is happening so some are changing shows after.

Did you see his old man come to the ring after he took the Meltzer Driver last Wednesday?

It was hilarious indeed. Slight correction though, they changed the name to the Tony Khan driver a few weeks ago. Uncle Dave I'm sure wasn't too happy about it.

Has anyone bothered watching WWE Speed on X? Will probably catch up sometime but wondering what the opinions here are.
