Sadly if Joe never gave an interview in his life he would be far more likable. One of my favourite players but he does have some horrendous takes. "They knew what they were signing up for" just reeks of entitlement. It benefits everyone, including UK players if the game is more global. Travel sucks I guess but it's literally your job. It's nothing compared to what players who are not fortunate to be born in the UK or West Europe are going through on a more frequent basis.
Someone also pointed out on Twitter that speaking about the UK in this context is a bit funny. It's literally just England for PC events. Scotland, Ireland, Wales are not exactly rich in events. At this point the tour is too England and Germany heavy for its own good.

Darts players are only people. 99% of what they present as thoughtful analysis is little more than 'It doesn't suit me so it's bad' or 'It's bad because it doesn't suit me'.
