Nice move, decide not to go to college and go to jail instead. Good decision.

Re: The Scheme
Apart from struggling to understand what's being said at times this has been fantastic TV. Probably for all the wrong reasons but fantastic nonetheless

I would think the ratings have been pretty good and although controverstial and so many schemes to choose from i can see a string of similar programmes.

Warts and all TV doesn't come close to describing it mate. I will admit I found some scenes disturbing

So true, no one ever says thank you for the good times.Snakehipsx2 wrote:It is sad, I blame the TV people myself. Why they have to show drugs ruining lives all the time is beyond me, its not very good publicity for those of us trying to make a living selling them. They need to show more people having a good time when they're off their heads, redress the balance a bit.M H wrote:Young lives being ruined by drugs and the general acceptance that it's the norm. Re: The Scheme
Joking apart I think it's good that the shocking scenes have been broadcast and hope many kids see them before they get into drugs themselves.
I've seen first hand the devastion felt by loved ones when a young person gets into drugs. Fortunately not one of mine but the kids mother was very close to me and blamed herself which was wrong. Pushers despise junkies, the general public despise junkies, the only people that don't despise junkies are the junkies that live to sustain their addiction.
They steal from family because it becomes their primary function. Steal elsewhere and get caught up in the legal system. Or worse.
Years back a childhood friend was released from prison and immediately spent his release money on a hit, a bad hit. He was found dead in a Paddington Station toilet at the age of 19 or 20. His parents have never got over it.
