Terrible attempts. Maybe it was the first time. I remember the longer that programme ran the more the contestants had been practising.
They had other similar shows over various consoles generations
There was one where this kid knew “any cheat code” or “trick” in the game to help out struggling players

I recently discovered an arcade game place not 10 minutes from where I live. They have arcade games from 70s 80s 90s and some new ones. Loads of pinball machines too.
It's on an industrial estate and only opens 3 days a week. All the games are set to free play.

Atari 130XE for me.
Had Spy vs Spy on it also.
Still got all my old consoles in the games room, the Atari, Master System 1 & 2, Mega Drive 1 & 2, various Gameboys, PS1, PS2, Xbox 360, Wii, Switch, various DS, PS4, currently on a PS5 and gaming PC.

I remember playing one in primary school where you were in a house trying to catch a mouse. Have spent years trying to find it for the nostalgia but fucked if I've even been able to find out what it was called.
