The Shining was on tv recently. Remembered it as a shit movie, but liked it now. Still not a fan of Jack though.

If he's referring to the hedge animals coming to life outside the hotel, that is indeed in the mini series.

Hmm. It's a long time since I saw that so I can't honestly remember.
