Would prefer Littler to progress, but I'd prefer Lennon on tour than Rafferty tbf

Re: Tourcard Race
Both are deserving of a tour card in my view
Lennon is a better player but Rafferty has more potential

Re: Tourcard Race
From what I remember did Rafferty not miss out by the skin of his teeth one year?
This would make up for it
EDIT- It was not being at the Worlds after his Slam run

Let's not be too hasty in commenting on Lennon's demise when we still don't know what's happening with Looooois

Agreed.
I am definitely expecting him to win a card either this year or in 2025.

We don't know but there are no signs pointing at him handing in his card, are there?

I would've thought that he would have publicly said it if he was giving it up, but there is still time I suppose

I don't think Lewis wants the big dramatic return to be pareded around like Barney.
He would rather keep the possibility open to turn up to a random floor event if he feels like it.

Nope, no signs. It seems he's in no hurry to return however. He can do as pleases of course but 'wasted cards', much like wasted 180s, are bad.

Re: Tourcard Race
I have no idea whether or not Lewis will hand in his card or simply allow it to expire.
However, I don't get the impression that he'll return any time soon. He was mulling over retirement long before April of 2023, and since then he's shown few signs that he wants to make a comeback.

Re: Tourcard Race
I do think the PDC should have made a rule about it years ago.
I don't think it's right to blame the players as they are not really gaming the system. They are following the rules which the PDC could easily change if they gave a shit.

Re: Tourcard Race
The 2024 rules will be published soon. I suspect a rule will be added a rule about % of events. It's a tricky area though as there are endless good reasons why players might miss events. The Thorn wrote: ↑Mon Jan 01, 2024 5:39 pmI do think the PDC should have made a rule about it years ago.
