Re: Not The Premier League Darts [NTPLD] - Thursday Night Entertainment Alternative
This is a voting game. You pick who you want to win each match. It will run for 17 Thursday nights, parallel with the 2024 Premier League.
It's a straight knockout tournament, involving every tour card holder. This is the Premier League done right (for us fine dorks).
The top 64 players post-Worlds are seeded. Their first round opponents are the other 64 card holders, drawn against them at random.
**Voting will be open each Thursday night from 7pm til 11.59pm, UK time.**
...that may be a problem for you sometimes but that's fine. This is the gimmick. This is a game for Thursday nights. There are no penalties if you miss a week. I will add up the votes each Friday and post the results.
Tie-breaks will be needed. So... each week, you will pick two star players to give them extra power. Stars will be added up and used to separate ties. If a tie still exists after that, the player that reached their total first will be the winner. So there is a race aspect in play, slightly.
Last 128: 8 weeks of 8 games
Last 64: 4 weeks of 8 games
Last 32: 2 weeks of 8 games
Last 16: 1 week of 8 games
Quarter-Finals: 1 week of 4 games
Semi-Finals and Final: 1 week of 3 games

It's meant to parallel the PL session obviously but should I make it 6pm?
