Superb sportsmanship from the Australian captain to withdraw an appeal for Obstructing the field against all time great batsman Ravindra Jadeja.

Perhaps one or two England players could learn something from Patrick's moral conduct. A fine player and an even finer person.
We can only hope, mate.

Sure fire way to kill attendance
It must lose money hand over fist
Expecting investment in anything is unrealistic
People that want to attend will, regardless. It's always the same old faces in any case. At least being on YouTube it gets more eyeballs on the game and may potentially attract a few souls over the season.

I only put cricket on when I'm really sleepy, it always does the job and for that only reason I'm glad this game exists.

Meanwhile the game between Yorkshire and Leicestershire ended in the inevitable draw due to the weather. Good to see Harry ‘Brooky’ Brook score 100 not out in just 69 balls.
Clearly getting his Bazball game into shape that England oh so missed in India.

Brook getting a ton is good news
Worcestershire having a good result vs Warwickshire. Well not losing is a positive too

Hopefully using the Kookaburra ball is showing some reality. A ball that does little combined with bowler's used to the Dukes that hoops equals some big scores. Even more remarkable given how shite the weather has been and pitches should be in favour of the ball. Hope England look as those bowlers taking wickets as they may well have a bit more skill than the old Duke 73mph swing kings.

A decent knock from Rooty and Brooky today. If the weather holds up, Yorkshire will wrap it up tomorrow.

Good 100 from Jos Buttler last night in the IPL
The 2nd round of the County Championship matches were all draws. Wonderful stuff
Loads of runs even in trying conditions. The Bowlers can't get to grips with the kookaburra ball as they are used to the dukes

The reason for the draws was primarily down to the weather, same for the first round.
