Christ.
Ashton has more stones than Durrant, she might have beaten him.
Wonder if she'll be at Q-School...
Why not.
What has she to lose? 12k is hardly life changing.

The only way female dart players will ever be taken seriously is if they compete against the men. This would no doubt bring some of their games on(not all, most of them will always be shit). Continuing to hold a woman-only world championship actually doesn't do them any favours at all. They've got no incentive to improve.

Ana and Deta had a do, Ashton is better than either.
The game is massively more difficult now though obviously.
Never going to get on the main tour.

Ashton cant do it apparently, seems the restrictions on Lakeside 2018 not being allowed to play Lakeside 2019 if they play Q School and fail also apply to the ladies.
Big changes on the way ! We've heard it before but it's different this time !!!! , I believe Bdo gonna grow x

It's not much but she wouldn't win too much in the PDC either.
I'd probably stay in the BDO and try Q-School next year if I had to forfeit the prize money

is there a reason she cant try to qualify for the mens BDO?
Would be a cert to be in the 32 at least surely?

Pretty sure she's ineligible due to them holding a seperate women's event. BDO don't do gender equality.

The other practical problem with Ashton playing on the men's tour is that she would have to scratch and claw for every ranking point, and play loads of tournaments, which I don't think she's in a position to do. On the women's circuit she can get away with playing a pretty limited schedule and still easily stay top 8 to be seeded for Lakeside.

Howler Klaxon!
- Durrant effectively begging to Channel 4 and BT Sport to stick with the event next year during the Champions Dinner

seeing as he's not at Q-School, we must conclude that Geert was actually trying his best against Veenstra
