That’s what annoys me how people underrate Scholes. Scholes was quality as a box to box player, then in mid 2000’s he changed to a deep lying midfielder, was very consistent. Zidane, Xavi all said they’d love to play in same team as him. No one could hit a better cross field ball.

Beckham was class but because of his "status" as a "Global Icon" the football is overshadowed.

Perhaps only even 1 player.

Yeah Becks never came up with us. Played in all the top leagues as well. So he could adapt.
