Lakeside Match Fixing Scandal
Yet again it seems the sport of darts will be dragged through the mud with regard to match fixing. It seems all major bookmakers are with holding payment of all bets on a three-nil win for Willie van de Wiel over 43 year old Durham based player, Dave Prins. Although no official announcement has been made by the bookmakers, staff have been told not to pay out any customers with bets involved this particular tie until a full investigation has been carried out.

Is it true that one of the moderators from this site has been arrested this morning in connection with this?

Of course not. Has anybody spoken to you about any bets you placed on the two games mentioned?Snakehipsx2 wrote:I can't speak for the others but I haven't been arrested. Thanks for asking though "Prince".

I can confirm I spent last night in handcuffs.
However, I was not arrested.

Re: Lakeside Match Fixing Scandal
So it would be fair to say that you are being investigated then? Not the first time you have had this problem is it? If you lot would just stick to fixing matches on the Premier league none of this would happen. People always get greedy.Snakehipsx2 wrote:I have nothing to hide pal, I backed Douglas & Willie to win and also to win 3-0, I also backed Paul Jennings to win and win 3-0, Christina Kist to win and win 3-0 and I'm on Benito van der Pas to win & win 3-0. These were my 5 main fancies of the first round and so as well as backing them to win I thought there was value to be had on the whitewash in each game. Unfortunately it seems some other people believed this to be the case and bookmakers have got the hump, at least that is my take on it.skudlooking wrote:dont get involved pal your personnel live is ov no concern except to you and yours.

The key word is yet. I have seen this cunt talking to players at events and laughing and joking with them when they have gotten beat. It isn't a coincidence that he always seems to be winning money on darts match bets.TimmyB wrote:You do realise Prince, that no one has been found guilty of anything yet?

I was laughing and joking with Oche after he had been knocked out of the GSOD darts qualifiers. It doesn't mean we conspired together on a betting scam.....or does it?Prince wrote: The key word is yet.
