We don't know. Could see PDC changing it for women, but men probably not. It has always been the case except a couple years ago when Lakey changed dates or somethingRogg wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 6:20 pmNot established, but also not un-established. = He will need to choose.sennafan24 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 6:17 pmWill he have to choose between Ally Pally and Lakeside?1205 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 6:12 pm Plaisier is in a good PCF position now, and a decent Worlds, but if he beats Joyce (currently 5-4) he'd pretty much guarantee Worlds and PCF spots, being over double the last PCF spot and close to double the last Worlds spot.

So this is where Wes stands in the card race: https://www.dartsrankings.com/postwch
Including Worlds and PC Finals Rround 1 money. Only 11 spots short even now.

Re: 2024 Players Championship Tour
Get in! Now safer for PCF and Worlds, and 35.5k on the Tour Card race, provisionally.
He's 5th in the CT. If he can somehow beat dream-crusher Clayton, not only would he add 5k to that, but he'd go to the top of the PC priority list and guarantee that he'd play the remaining 16.

Seeing how much Wade's form had improved from earlier in the year, I thought that he'd be OK. It was Gilding's run yesterday that surprised.

Unless the WDF rename it the amateur worlds then the PDC won't change the men policy. The Thorn wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 6:22 pmWe don't know. I think it was the covid delayed lakey where the PDC allowed card holders to play in it. It's a bit of a blur though to be honest.

Re: 2024 Players Championship Tour
That's my recollection as well. Porter didn't say it, but it seems obvious to me that until/unless the WDF drops World Championship from the tournament name, players will be forced to choose.TheMalteseDart wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 6:23 pmBarrs kinda asked about this in the last Porter interview and Porter basically said that the policy is still the sameThe Thorn wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 6:22 pmWe don't know. Is the world ready to see the WDF in Ultra HD though Thorny, that's the question.
