If you opt for league darts instead of Vault events then imo its stupid, You had 5 games tonight for £6 and on the night could have won some cash, Still though, Its not easy as you have probably learned tonight, The draw can make your night easier or harder depending on how it goes, Personally if I had the draw you did in the order of games I would love it as I never like going on first and the back to back games after winning the first of them would have got me fired up.

Well done though Ben, Not a bad first crack at it at all.

Yeah, I'm under no illusions. I had a piss easy draw. I treated as practice and got 15 legs out of it so yeah it was worth it.

Well there ya go then, 15 legs of competitive darts instead of what...One game of best of 3 or 5 legs? And nothing to win on the night....

Easy choice to make really.

I agree with DBG on this. This is better than League Darts and the leagues around the country will have to change to stay competitive

There are a lot of ways in which the Vault series events are better than local league darts, 8 week series duration meaning more than just the usual summer and winter leagues, Multiple games each night, You can play as many events as you want to, Money can be won at every event and you can qualify for bigger events.

Also with it being on Darts Atlas, Players have all their stats that they can view at any time and I can't see any local leagues getting close to offering what the Vault series does for players, I see the names of a lot of players that usually would or did play local leagues now playing 2-3 Vault events each week, A while ago I was speaking to someone local who does play local league darts here and when I mentioned about me possibly running one locally on a Tuesday or Wednesday it was a case of "Oh no, You can't do that, What about the St Johns league or the Wednesday league"

Eventually it will be a case of Vault events being on when local league nights are running and players will make a choice, Those with a brain in their heads will choose to play Vaults and the more of them that become available to play in then the more players local leagues will lose to them.
