is the UKDA the new BDO but without affiliation with the WDF? So just county darts? Any affiliation with the England/Scottisch/etc darts organisations?

Yeah it is

Scotland's counties chose not to join UKDA, and stuck with the SDA. Not saying it's linked but Scottish county darts is even weaker, with fewer teams, than it was under BICC.

In England and Wales, counties can choose to affiliate with the national body, and players get a few perks if they do, but it costs each county to do this, and a fair few haven't bothered. The EDO and WDO have lost a chunk of income since BICC disappeared.

Do you mean that some English and Welsh counties playing against each other under the UKDA umbrella and others under the EDO/WDO. Do they not play against each other? I would assume that the EDO/WDO assign spots for the World Masters. Do they solely pick their own?
