If they just set the entry deadline for the automatic qualifiers to BEFORE the TC floor qualifier, those 31 spots could have all gone to the actual floor qualifier on the day.

That would have been like adding 3 whole extra ETs' worth of spots to the floor. It would have been a big boost for new cardies especially.

As it is, their rule on when automatic qualifiers can withdraw without consequences is dog dirt.
