- WSDT have changed their name to WSD (World Senior Darts)
- The age of all players will go from 50 to 45
- All tour events will now be part of the ADC and the WSD will only run TV events from 2025
WSDT becomes WSD with ADC announced as the new Qualifying Route to TV Events.
WSDT is delighted to announce some exciting changes for 2025 and beyond.
From the very inception of WSDT, our vision and goal was to ensure that the legacy of the many Champions that have graced the sport of Darts were honoured and celebrated.
To this end, WSD (World Seniors Darts) will now be responsible only for the organisation of televised Seniors darts tournaments rather than a tour.
Each of these tournaments will feature a core cast of invited players who have a history and legacy in the sport.
Rivalries will be renewed, and new rivalries will be forged, as players compete for honour, prestige and Seniors TV titles.
As part of our rebrand, we have also made the decision to lower the age criteria from 50 to 45.
We believe this change will allow us to invite new players to TV tournaments, as well as giving any player aged 45 or over on 31st January 2025 the chance to make it to the TV stages of all future World Seniors Darts tournaments.
In another exciting change, all qualifying events held in 2025 will now be run by the Amateur Darts Circuit (ADC), which will give anyone over the age of 45 with an ADC membership the chance to qualify for the Seniors televised tournaments. Details for these events will be announced in due course, as well as the televised tournament schedule for 2025. The ADC is the largest amateur Darts organisation in the UK, with over 11,500 members.

Three qualifying events will be held at the Crucible in Reading on the 1st and 2nd February, those events will produce the final three participants for the 2025 Seniors World Darts Championship.
Any player with a current WSDT Membership can take advantage of our early bird offer, which will allow members to play in all three events for a reduced entry fee of £120. This option will be available to eligible players from 9am on the 28th November at http://worldseniorsdarts.com
Any player over the age of 45 without a WSDT membership can still enter this trio of qualifiers, the cost of entry will be £150 for all three events. Entries will be accepted from 9am on the 9th December.
