This week in 1970. Roy Clarke has written about nazis.
These two have notable associations with Doctor Who.

I don't really remember it as I've not seen it 5 years. I'd forgotten how much I hate that PROFOUND backing music they always gave those moments. It clashes so awkwardly with the dreary dialogue.

Saturday 20th January 1973.
The final episode of the Doctor Who 10th anniversary story 'The Three Doctors', today in 1973. Watch it at 5.50pm on BBC1.
Someone cut out the listing and taped it back into place. Interesting. 'Dr Who' is in the credits three times.
Richard Nixon takes the Oath of Allegiance on BBC2 at 4.45pm.

Daily Mirror, 22nd January 1975.
50 years ago this week. Apparently Mary Whitehouse has been complaining that Doctor Who could be causing children to wet the bed.

I still haven't watched the Christmas Day special. I'm sure it's still lurking on iplayer. I'd forgotten all about it.
