Yes
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013_Gran ... kout_stage

However:
2013: Lewis: 52 180s in 93 legs = 0.55914
2024: Littler: 60 180s in 107 legs = 0.56075/leg
So Littler was very, very slightly better.
1 less 180 and he would have had a lower 180s/leg.

If you're counting WSoD events you have to include Premier League knockout weeks. Essentially the same but without the warm-up game.

They are stand alone events. PL is part of a season

+1

Warm up game is disrespectful when Damon Heta and Kyle Anderson have won these events.

Jeff Smith, Corey Cadby in finals.

Warren Parry beating MVG etc
The truth, however ugly in itself, is always curious and beautiful to seekers after it.

Right, they are standalone events but there's an Order of Merit and a finals night. Whereas the Premier League has a league table and a finals night.

Also, there is a difference in the lineups:
2024 Premier League was:
Luke Humphries
Michael van Gerwen
Michael Smith
Nathan Aspinall
Gerwyn Price
Rob Cross
Peter Wright
Luke Littler

Whereas the 2024 Bahrain Masters was:
Luke Humphries
Michael van Gerwen
Michael Smith
Nathan Aspinall
Gerwyn Price
Rob Cross
Peter Wright
Luke Littler
8 other qualifiers/invitees.
The qualifiers/invitees were all defeated in the first round so the last 8 was:
Luke Humphries
Michael van Gerwen
Michael Smith
Nathan Aspinall
Gerwyn Price
Rob Cross
Peter Wright
Luke Littler

Very, very different.

18 editions of Slam averages, thanks to FEBs: https://x.com/FEBsData

These are the averages of averages, remember. Not the fancier dart by dart stuff.

% of legs won in the tournament by every GSoD winner. Thanks to TheRedBit on twitter. Give him some love if you don't already: https://x.com/TheRedBit180

Littler in 2024 with the exact same stats as Taylor had in 2013 and 2014.
