Early to mid 70's Albums by the likes of Gary Glitter (Christmas present?) He turned out to be a proper wrong 'un but his songs were the bollocks. Also in the collection - Showaddywaddy, Darts.
Then The Pistols came along and created the biggest shit storm, not only in the music industry, but the UK. The do gooders of our land had proper meltdowns. The music revolution was in full flow with bands forming overnight. I attended many punk gigs in town, and to this day couldn't name one of those bands. Likely most disbanded after 1 gig!
Take to a time machine, erase all memory and do it all over again.
First single bought with own money: The Jam - Down In The Tube Station At Midnight

‘Benny and the shitters’ by all accounts the band had a fight amongst themselves on stage.
Rock n roll baby.
