Oche etiquette
So this got debated last week amongst our team so I thought I'd bring it here too
If after you've hit the winning double, do you retrieve your darts before or after you've shaken your opponents hand? Do you consider one being rude?

Re: Oche etiquette
I have always taken my darts out of the board first then shook hands with the opponent.

If they fell out before you retrieved them after shaking hands etc in theory it's not over.daveboygreen wrote: ↑Fri Feb 17, 2023 8:04 pm I have always taken my darts out of the board first then shook hands with the opponent.

It would need an absolute cunt of a referee to make that call, though.Randall wrote:If they fell out before you retrieved them after shaking hands etc in theory it's not over.daveboygreen wrote: ↑Fri Feb 17, 2023 8:04 pm I have always taken my darts out of the board first then shook hands with the opponent.

Once they've called shot it's unlikely they'd renege

Once they’ve called game shot it’s over, regardless if they fall out.
Just makes sense to get away from the board if there’s another game on after.
