It wasn't at Lakeside in those days. The first World Championship at Lakeside was in 1986.

That original World Championship trophy, with the dart on top, was given to Eric Bristow for keeps in 1984 after he won the trophy for the third time. They were saying at the 1987 World Championship that Bristow would keep the present day trophy should he win his 6th World Championship. That trophy is still used for Lakeside today.
